I attended elementary school at Mooresburg. It was here that I was inspired by my fifth grade teacher, Becky Bowman, to become an educator. I went on to attend Lincoln Memorial University to obtain my teaching degree, and I was very fortunate to be able to begin teaching kindergarten at Mooresburg in January of 2010. This is where I have been ever since, and I cannot imagine being anywhere else. I love our little school, our amazing kids, the family atmosphere, and the community. It is simply home to me.
A little personal info about it: I've been married to my husband, Zeke, since July 2009. We have two children, McKinlee & Elijah, who attend school here. We also have three pet border collie mix dogs, CoCo, Ed, and Oreo. We attend Slate Hill Baptist Church. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, and crafting.
