I was born, raised and still live in Hawkins County. I truly believe, "There's no place like home." I have two boys, Sterling and Cash. Before I was principal at MES, I was an elementary school teacher for ten years, as well as a middle school assistant principal/principal for eight years.

When not in school, I am usually never far away from home. Growing up on a farm, I have always enjoyed growing things. I raise a garden and usually have a herd of sheep or cows in my field. My sons and I also enjoy playing music. About every day, you can hear something being played in the Simpson house.
