
Wednesday, HCS received a visit from TDOE's Assistant Commissioner of the Division of Coordinated School Health, Lori Paisley, along with Senior Project Manager, Taylor Rayfield and Director of Student and Family Services, Sarah Arnold. Best practices relating to physical, social, and emotional health were shared at Joseph Rogers Primary, Surgoinsville, Middle, Surgoinsville Elementary, and Cherokee High School. HCS District therapy dog, Archie, was able to join the visit.






Mrs. Jones's class was able to visit the book bus with TDOE representative,Lori Paisley. Each student was able to get a book off of the book bus to keep.


Field day is Friday, May 16th! All concessions will be free for all students!

JRP's Honor's Day will be on Tuesday, May 20th.

Today is our last day of Kindergarten Registration. It is from 1-3


The last month of school is filled with many events. Here is a calendar of all of our May Events!


We will have our final day of in-person kindergarten registration this Thursday, May 1st.


If you preordered a yearbook, they will come home with your student on Friday! We ordered extra yearbooks and they are first come, first serve starting on Monday. There will be an order form sent home to purchase a yearbook on Friday.

First grade walk to learn group researched how bubble gum was made and then researched how to blow a bubble. They wrote the directions down step by step and then put their directions into action and learned how to blow a bubble.










We will have our first day of Kindergarten registration this Friday, April 25th. It starts at 1:00
