The Future is Bright! 🌟
We were so honored to host the CTE on Wheels team from Cherokee High School today! Our students had a blast exploring future career paths, including Agriculture, Education, Firefighting, Cosmetology, Nursing, Culinary Arts, and NJROTC.
It was extra special welcoming back our Mooresburg Alumni! Seeing you lead and inspire our younger students was the highlight of the day. We are so proud of the leaders you’ve become!
A huge thank you to our presenters: Zoey, Kara, Kassidy, Kevin, Delaney, Paisley (Madam President!), Emily, Shaun, Ella, and the entire CTE crew for an inspiring day.

District Announcement: Hawkins County School District is excited to offer Summer Learning Camps this summer for our students who will be Rising 1st-9th graders.
Summer Learning Camp will take place for four weeks, four days a week, between May 26 - June 18 from 7:30-2:30 p.m.
Parents will be notified of acceptance before the start of summer camp. This form is for planning and informational purposes only, final registration forms will be sent home in the spring.

MES parents, please note that due to Mooresburg Utility District’s water boil notice, students will be provided a bagged lunch and potable water as usual for breakfast and lunch due to this notice. Please feel free to send bottled water for your student as well. We will also have bottle water available at the school. Thank you for your understanding!

District Announcement: Hawkins County Schools will continue to be closed on Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6, due to unsafe secondary roads. Although the recent rain and warming temperatures have helped improve some of the road conditions, 80-85% of our secondary routes remain unsafe for bus travel. Due to warming temperatures and sunshine forecast over the weekend and into next week, we aim to open schools and run buses on clear routes beginning Monday. If this plan changes, we will send and post updates. Please refer to the HCS Bus Changes page:
